About The Project

The study sites are on some roads, including Aqaba Road, located in the southern direction of Khamis Mushait city in Asir region. The main problems of these sites are summarized in the presence of intersections between the main valleys and the roads under study which don’t have sufficient protection facilities to pass the flows and protect the roads. Also, these roads are currently exposed to the effects of recurring floods, which exposes them to damage and possibly collapse due to erosion and possibly rock collapses that accompany the water flow. Complete hydrological and hydraulic studies were presented to protect these sites after performing the necessary modeling and simulation to study and determine the impact of the flows of these valleys.
