About The Project

The scope of the project is to prepare comprehensive hydrological studies and analyses for a number of critical sites on the Al-Baha Pass Road in Al-Baha region. The studies also provided appropriate hydrological and geotechnical solutions based on hydraulic and hydrological analysis for each site, as these sites are exposed to rock collapses due to the nature of the area in which the project is located, which is considered one of the most important and dangerous obstacle roads in the Kingdom. The project included relying on many hydraulic modeling methods to find appropriate solutions according to the conditions of each site. The solutions included the hydraulic design of various hydraulic elements used to solve and protect such sites (culverts, bridges, canals, etc.). The study included providing integrated solutions to address the problem of rock collapses and address steep slopes.
