About The Project

The project is located south of the city of Rania in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. It is the proposed intersection between the Al-Rain-Bisha Road and the main Wadi Bisha at the kilometer mark. The main problem of the study site is that it is affected by the main Wadi Bisha flow basin with a drainage basin of about 21,190 km2, which causes danger and damage to the road. Therefore, it was recommended to propose a bridge to pass the estimated flow of the 100-year storm and to provide hydraulic and hydrological studies and designs as well as potential erosion calculations and to provide hydrological and geotechnical recommendations to protect the bridge.
